• Police attended an Emu Bay residence on July 15 and seized a quantity of hydroponic equipment in relation to plants formerly grown inside the premises.

• Police are continuing investigations into three non-aggravated serious criminal trespasses over the past month and a fourth in March 08. Police found some of the stolen property from two separate break ins and are appealing to the community to help with the investigations. Several people have been identified but yet to be formally questioned.

• Police, CFS and SA Ambulance were called to a single vehicle rol over on the Hog Bay Road near Pelican Lagoon on Wednesday July 16. $15,000 damage was caused to the Ford Courier ute which rolled after colliding with a large Kangaroo. The driver was taken to the Kingscote hospital with minor injuries and neck pain.

• Police arrested a 14-year-old youth for illegal use of a motor vehicle on Wednesday, July 16 after the owner of the vehicle detained him when he returned the vehicle after taking it for a joy ride. The youth was on bail for a similar offence and was flown to the Magill youth training centre.

• A 39-year-old MacGillivray male was stopped on Playford Hwy on Saturday night and breath tested. He will attend Kingscote court on a future date for exceeding the Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol at 0.125 and was given an immediate six-month loss of licence.
